The South Korean company, after regaining control over all cars produced here and also imported, has shown that it is not fooling around. In approximately 3 months, the brand has brought the Palisade, a large luxury SUV, the Kona hybrid, and fully electric, new Creta facelifted with a 1.6 turbo engine, and more.
To maintain this growing range of news and good options in the market, Hyundai is preparing a new generation of compacts for Brazil, and it seems that the HB20 will be replaced by a new entry-level mini SUV from Hyundai to compete with models like the Renault Kardian.

In dimensions, the Hyundai Venue sold in the Indian automotive market measures 3.99 m in length, 2.50 m in wheelbase, 1.77 m in width, and 1.61 m in height, with a total weight of just 1129 kg, and it accommodates 300 l of luggage in the trunk.
Visually, the Hyundai mini SUV is very attractive and resembles the Creta. In front, there is a Black Piano grille and split full LED headlights. The sides feature dual-tone paint and wheels of up to 16 inches. Moving to the rear, there is a sporty bumper, a spoiler, and interconnected LED taillights that are very beautiful.
New Hyundai Venue Delivers 120 HP
Speaking of the powertrain, the new Hyundai mini SUV will have as one of its options a mild hybrid system already seen in the Kia Stonic here, but in a tropicalized configuration with Flex technology. In simpler configurations, it will feature a 1.0 three-cylinder turbo engine with direct fuel injection Flex.
The Hyundai Venue’s engine delivers 120 horsepower and 17.5 kgfm of torque, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The performance and fuel consumption averages will be even better than the current Creta, as it is a significantly smaller and lighter vehicle.
The more expensive versions of the Hyundai mini SUV in the automotive market may feature a setup promised by the brand. This would be based on the same 1.0 three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine combined with an additional power generator, and we will have Flex technology. With this new setup, the Hyundai Venue will feature the famous sailing mode that turns off the engine at cruising speeds, significantly saving fuel.
Technologies Present in the New Mini SUV
Inside, the new Hyundai mini SUV will be a simplified variant of the Creta, bringing some good qualities from its larger sibling. The internal space will comfortably accommodate four adults and a child, and the list of features will offer interesting items such as a keyless entry system, wireless cellphone charger, digital climate control, rear air vents, and a multifunction steering wheel.
There is also a dashboard that is similar to that of the HB20 and entry-level versions of the current new Creta which features a screen that mimics a digital dashboard, but the only truly digital part is the center panel, which is a 4-inch TFT display that, combined with the overall design, can appear to be a 100% digital panel, but it is not.
Regarding safety, the new Hyundai Venue will be a complete model, albeit with some moderations. It will feature items such as disc brakes with ABS, traction and stability controls, six airbags, three-point seatbelts, and headrests for all occupants, and all of this will apply to all versions. The more advanced versions may also include collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and parking maneuver braking.
