IBAMA Opens Selection Process With Vacancies for Students of High School, Technical, and Higher Education Without Experience

IBAMA Has a New Selection Process Open Focused on Students. There Are Several Internship Positions Available with Stipend and Other Benefits.

IBAMA has published a new notice No. 1/2023, regarding positions without experience aimed at forming a reserve list with the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources. The opportunities are directed at students of high school, technical, and higher education in different fields of knowledge, with placements in various municipalities across the country.

The simplified selection process will be valid for one year from its publication, with the possibility of renewal for the same period, depending on IBAMA’s needs. During the validity of the process, candidates classified in the reserve list may be called.

The selection process is being executed and organized by the Institute of Human Promotion, Learning, and Culture (IPHAC). The positions without experience in IBAMA’s selection process are for the following students:

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering;
  • Currently enrolled in regular high school or technical education in the 2nd year or Youth and Adult Education – EJA in the 1st or 2nd semester;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Oceanography;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Geography;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Social Communication Advertising and Propaganda;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sanitary Engineering;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism;
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

It is important to remember that in addition to the positions without experience for open competition, there is a quota for people with disabilities and Black candidates. Other requirements to apply for the desired opportunity can be found in the opening notice.

Learn How to Apply for the Positions Without Experience Available at IBAMA

Those interested in applying for the internship positions at IBAMA must register exclusively online by the deadline of August 9 of this year.

To do this, it is necessary to access the website of the Institute of Human Promotion, Learning, and Culture (IPHAC) and fill out the application form for the vacancy and intended area. IBAMA emphasizes that no registration fee will be charged. 

The selection process for the positions without experience will have two stages, which are the Curriculum Analysis, with eliminatory and classificatory character and Interview, of purely classificatory character. In case of a tie between two or more candidates, preference will be given to the candidate who is studying the most advanced semester, is older, and has the oldest registration, respectively.

Approved Candidates Will Receive a Stipend and Several Other Benefits

The stipend amount for those approved for the positions without experience will range from R$ 486.05 to R$ 787.98 for shifts of four hours daily. Additionally, contracted individuals will be entitled to a transportation allowance of R$ 10 per day actually worked. The IBAMA opportunities are distributed across the following municipalities:

  • Maceió – AL;
  • Boa Vista – RR;
  • Natal – RN;
  • São Luis – MA;
  • Brasília – DF;
  • Santos – SP;
  • Porto Velho – RO;
  • João Pessoa – PB;
  • Campo Grande – MS;
  • Rio de Janeiro – RJ;
  • Porto Velho – RO;
  • Itajaí – SC;
  • Florianópolis – SC;
  • Fortaleza – CE;
  • Rio Branco – AC;
  • Macapá – AP.
