Ibama Launches New Editais With Temporary Positions. The New Public Competition of The Entity Has Thousands of High-School Positions in Several States of Brazil.
With the expectation of authorization for a new examination for permanent positions, a new public competition from the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) for temporary positions has published 3 editais in the official gazette this Monday (24). In total, 1,095 positions are being made available, with options for those who only have literacy and high school education.

In total, the temporary positions in the IBAMA public competition are for 13 states and the Federal District. Salaries can reach R$ 5,208 and the application deadline may vary according to the desired position and location.
The high-school positions at the agency are for roles such as State Supervisor of Brigades, where a complete high school education is required, age between 18 and 59 years, with an initial salary of R$ 5,208. For the role of firefighter, it is necessary to be literate, aged between 18 to 59 years, with an initial salary ranging from R$ 1,302 to R$ 1,953, depending on the location.

In this city, applications can be made until 05/26 from 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm.
Details About The Positions Available From IBAMA
The Firefighter is responsible for executing activities related to integrated fire management, such as prevention of fire use, preparation, monitoring, and combating forest fires, being available to act in large combat operations at any time.
The Squad Leader aims to command the firefighters in the squad in prevention and combat activities, execute and develop the weekly work plan of the squad, and ensure the maintenance of the equipment, materials, and vehicles of the Brigade, being available to act in large combat activities at any moment.
The Brigade Chief operates with the objective of executing administrative activities related to the brigade, coordinating the command hierarchy of squad leaders and firefighters, sending management reports, and representing Prevfogo locally, being prepared to act in large combat operations of any kind.
Finally, the State Supervisor of Brigades is responsible for supporting the technical-administrative actions of the State Coordinations of Prevfogo and managing the Brigades of Prevfogo under their responsibility.
IBAMA Promises To Open Other Public Competitions
At the beginning of this month, a new request for authorization for the public competition of IBAMA was made, where the opening of 2,000 new positions is planned.
According to the document sent by the president of the entity, Rodrigo Agostinho, to Marina Silva, Minister of the Environment, there are 2,408 positions. It is worth noting that Agostinho had already announced that the public competition is in the planning phase. The positions offered for this examination are for Environmental Analyst and Administrative Analyst.
