IEL Bahia announces availability of new vacancies for research grants related to the areas of engineering and computing

The scholarship program is part of the INOVA Talentos project, a partnership between IEL and Ford Brasil, and offers vacancies to engineering and computing professionals and undergraduates.

IEL's INOVA Talents program Bahia, in partnership with Ford Brazil, has new vacancies available for research grants. These vacancies are intended, in general, for professionals and students in areas related to engineering and computing.

This program encourages the development of research, development and innovation (RD&I) projects, by allocating a professional on a scholarship with characteristics appropriate to the needs of the project, in addition to collaborating for the growth and evolution of professionals with an innovative mindset. Among the supported projects are those of product, organizational, service, process, marketing and business model innovation.

There are different types of scholarships offered by INOVA Talentos

The extension grants offered by the program have multiple modalities, being classified in RD&I – Research, Development and Innovation, whose main requirement is training, and EV – Visiting Specialist, whose main premise is focused on experience time.

The type and duration (from 3 to 36 months) of the grant for the vacancies are determined by the company, according to the adequate profile for the execution of the innovation project.

Scholarship values ​​may vary depending on the level of experience and qualification of the candidates.

As an example of the vacancies available, we can cite:

  • Scholarship for materials engineering project (aluminum): Applicant must be a graduate or undergraduate in engineering, computer science or technology-related fields. Period of duration of 5 months, working at home office. The scholarship can be R$ 2.500,00, for graduates with up to 5 years of experience, or R$ 3.000,00, for professionals with a master's degree.
  • Scholarship for software development project in embedded systems: A degree in computer engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or related fields is required. Work at home office and duration of 12 months. The scholarship can be R$ 4.000,00, for candidates with at least 5 years of experience, or R$ 2.500,00, if they have up to 5 years of experience.
  • Scholarship for software development project: Candidate must be a graduate or undergraduate in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering or electrical engineering. The duration period is 12 months and the performance is also at home office. As for the scholarship values, it can be R$ 4.000,00, for graduates with at least 5 years of experience, R$ 2.500,00, for graduates with up to 5 years of experience, or R$ 1.500,00, for undergraduates .
  • Scholarship for functional safety project: The candidate must be a graduate in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical, computing, software or related fields. The duration period is 3 months, while the performance is at home office. The value of the scholarship is R$ 1.500,00 for undergraduate students.
  • Scholarship holder in the area of ​​projects/technology: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science or software development is required. The duration period is 10 months, in addition to the performance being also at home office. The value of the scholarship is BRL 4.000,00 for graduates in the area of ​​technology or graduates with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Scholarship for project in the area of ​​data science/technology: Candidate must have a degree in engineering, computer science, data science or software development. The duration period is 10 months, working from home office. The value of the scholarship is BRL 4.000,00 for graduates in the area of ​​technology or graduates with at least 5 years of experience.
