Three Federal Institutions Offer 810 Openings in Free Distance Learning Specializations in March 2026, with Open Enrollment and Selection Without Objective Test

March 2026 has arrived with a hard-to-ignore opportunity for those who are already graduated: 810 openings in free distance learning specializations offered by three federal institutions. The announcements include courses in Management, Environment, Arts, and Inclusion, and enrollment does not require an objective test. The key point is another: the deadlines are short and the selection process varies by institution.

Which Rule of the Announcement Does Your Profile Fall Under?

The opportunities are aimed at those who have already completed higher education, but each institution defines its own criteria. Therefore, it’s worth checking if you fit the priority audience before submitting any documents.

At Ifes, the openings are for graduates from any field and include a reserved number of spots for affirmative action. In IFNMG, the specialization prioritizes certain profiles related to Arts and Education. Meanwhile, at UFRB, the focus is on public network workers who have a higher education diploma.

In summary, the announcements highlight public profiles such as:

  • Graduates from any field (Ifes)
  • Graduates in Performing Arts or Theater and related profiles, as well as educators and education agents (IFNMG)
  • Public network professionals with a degree (UFRB)
  • Applicants who fit into affirmative action, when provided (e.g., Persons with Disabilities and ethnic-racial criteria in Ifes; specific policies at UFRB)

What Do These Specializations Really Deliver?

The four specializations are organized in areas that have a constant demand in the market and in the public sector. Although each course has its own pedagogical project, the announcements point in a clear direction: training for practical action in management, sustainability, artistic creation, and inclusion in education.

At Ifes, for example, the reported workload is 380 hours, and classes take place in a virtual environment. The proposal aims at management routines and decision-making, whether in schools or in environmental contexts.

At IFNMG, the specialization in Theater and Creation Pedagogies focuses on creative processes, theater education, and pedagogical mediation. Meanwhile, UFRB directs the specialization towards those who need to master inclusion and diversity policies and practices, requiring a final project and a planned duration of 18 months.

Which Courses Are on the List and Where Are the Best Chances of Admission Right Now?

The openings are distributed across 4 courses, with significant differences in volume, selection, and requirements. Here’s what appears in the announcements:

Ifes (Announcement 09/2026): 560 Openings

  • Specialization in School Management: 360 openings
  • Specialization in Environmental Management: 200 openings
  • Reported workload: 380 hours
  • Reported reserved openings: 25% for PPI and 5% for Persons with Disabilities

IFNMG Campus Diamantina (Announcement 45/2026): 100 Openings

  • Specialization in Theater and Creation Pedagogies
  • Offered in 100% distance format (Moodle platform)
  • Classification: chronological order of enrollment, respecting the priorities of the announcement

UFRB (Announcement 01/2026): 150 Openings

  • Specialization in Inclusion and Diversity in Education
  • Mandatory in-person meetings: 4, distributed across UAB centers

Centers and Openings

  • Mundo Novo: 30 openings
  • Rio Real: 30 openings
  • Itabuna: 30 openings
  • Santo Estevão: 30 openings
  • Itaberaba: 30 openings

Additionally, UFRB indicates affirmative action policies for profiles such as Black, Indigenous, Quilombola, transgender individuals, and Persons with Disabilities.

What Do You Receive Upon Completion?

Yes. The announcements refer to lato sensu specializations, meaning that upon fulfilling the academic requirements, you will graduate with a specialist title, issued by the institution responsible for the course.

At UFRB, for example, the announcement mentions the need for a final project and an estimated duration of 18 months, reinforcing the classic format of postgraduate studies. At Ifes, the total reported workload is 380 hours. In all cases, the certificate depends on meeting the course criteria, such as participation and required submissions.

Where Does Enrollment Happen and What Defines Who Gets In?

Enrollment happens through the systems indicated in each announcement and, importantly, the way of admission varies significantly. Therefore, it’s not just about submitting your application: it’s understanding what influences the classification.

At Ifes, if the number of applicants exceeds the openings, the institution determines admission by auditable electronic lottery. Applications are accepted until March 13, 2026, via SIGAA of Ifes.

At IFNMG, the competition is based on speed: selection occurs by chronological order of enrollment, with an application period from March 4 to 18, 2026, on the official campus website.

At UFRB, the process requires documentation and profile analysis: selection occurs via Curriculum Analysis and a Academic Memorial, and candidates must achieve a minimum score of 70 points. The submission deadline ends on March 15, 2026, via SIGAA.
