IFMS Has Just Opened Thousands of Slots in Free Courses That Will Be Offered in Distance Learning (EAD). The Courses Will Last 4 Months and Come With a Certificate at the End.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) announced on Monday (02) the opening of several free EAD courses. These are distance qualification courses focused on basic Spanish, sales, basic English, and computer operator. According to the schedule provided by IFMS, candidates can register until January 8.

Basic Spanish
This course aims to train qualified professionals to work in various sectors of society, communicating in Spanish at a basic level, through four linguistic skills, namely, reading, writing, oral production, and comprehension. This professional will be able to understand and use familiar and everyday expressions, as well as simple statements that aim to meet concrete demands.

Basic English
This course aims to specifically train professionals capable of communicating in English objectively and at a basic level, through oral and written communications in their various forms and genres, enabling individuals and professionals to support the administrative sectors of institutions in the Leisure, Tourism, and Hospitality sectors regarding the English language.
Computer Operator
This course teaches professionals to install, configure, and operate operating systems, peripherals, and office applications. It organizes input and output of data in information systems according to technical procedures and is attentive to information security and intellectual property standards and policies.
Salesperson
This course aims to teach the student how to present the company’s products and services, negotiate, and argue the sale. It prepares goods for sale, provides customer service, demonstrates products, executes the sale and post-sale, displays goods at the point of sale, and records the entry and exit of goods.
Registration for Free EAD Courses and Selection Process
Those interested in EAD courses must register for free through the IFMS Central Selection website. The interested party must create an account on the platform using full name, CPF, date of birth, gender, among other important data.
The selection process will not include tests and, according to the notice, the process will occur through an electronic lottery, which is scheduled to take place on January 12.
The institution will publish the final classification of the selection process and the list of nominees in the first call on the 19th of the same month. In the case of Spanish and English language courses, approved candidates must take a leveling test between January 20 and 24 for the classes to be formed. The result is expected to be announced on the 27th.
Understand How EAD Courses at IFMS Will Work
In total, IFMS is offering 1,553 slots across four free EAD professional qualification courses. The duration of the courses is four months. There are slots for 14 physical centers of the institution in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and the municipalities included in the offering of opportunities are Campo Grande, Corumbá, Dourados, Coxim, Nova Andradina, Ponta Porã, Amambai, Três Lagoas, Antônio João, Costa Rica, Camapuã, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Sonora, and Ribas do Rio Pardo.
The English and Spanish courses will include in-person meetings throughout the week at the center where the student is enrolled, while the sales course will be offered in the distance learning (EAD) modality. The computer operator course also includes weekly meetings, depending on the IFMS center where the student is enrolled.
