UFMA Offers 10,000 Openings in Free Online and EAD Courses Focused on Doctors, Nurses, and Other Health Professionals Working with Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities.
The Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) announced on Monday (01) the opening of new registrations for free online and EAD courses on Introduction to Tools for Strategic Administration and Planning for Rehabilitation Service Managers. The university states that it has 10,000 openings available for this year. Like the course, the registrations can be made for free, and the training is aimed at anyone interested in the topic.

The free course offered by UFMA targets professionals who work in SUS and public hospitals, who are involved in the rehabilitation of people with disabilities, such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, psychologists, nutritionists, rehabilitation service managers, dentists, among others.
The total duration of the training is 30 hours, and upon completion of the course, UFMA will also provide a free certificate for the student. The deadline to complete the free online and EAD courses is from December 21, 2022, to June 30 of this year through the UNA-SUS platform.

Registrations for the free online and EAD courses were opened by the Directorate of Technologies in Education (DTED/UFMA), through the Open University of SUS of the Federal University of Maranhão (UNA-SUS/UFMA), alongside the Ministry of Health.
How to Enroll in the Free Online and EAD Courses
Those interested in enrolling in the free online and EAD courses can register until May 30 of this year, exclusively through the UNA SUS Portal. To register, you will need to provide information such as full name, date of birth, mother’s name, CPF, email, among other details.
It is important to note that through the training, it will be possible to understand tools for managing and planning actions and services in the administrative process in the health sector, so that the knowledge developed can positively impact the provision of assistance in rehabilitation services focusing on people with disabilities.
In this course, you will have access to material for classes in PDF, Interactive Infographics, Multimedia Resources, Questionnaires, and E-books. It is important to mention that to obtain certification, the student must achieve an average score of 70 or higher in the total points obtained in the available assessment activities. Additionally, it will be necessary to complete the Course Evaluation Questionnaire by responding to the Learning Situation (pre and post-test).
