Focusing on this new market niche, Metodo Potencial's Budgets and Proposals manager, Edson Siqueira, stated that and empresa has been looking for companies with experience in this segment in the international market.
The company's goal is to close partnerships and according to the manager of Metodo Potencial, "After much prospecting, we found two companies on the US coast that already carry out decommissioning in shallow waters within the continental shelf - Shore Logistics and Mars".

The other company sought and which will provide support was Triunfo Logística and the next step in the partnership is to secure the first contract with Petrobras in the second half of the year or at the beginning of next year to make the existence of the new company viable.

The partnership closed by Metodo Potencial Engenharia is keeping an eye on Petrobras' decommissioning schedule with foreign companies joining the consortium in case of victory in any tender.
In the tender to decommission the fixed dogfish platforms, the company came in third place, and the tender was won by EPIC. The result is still being evaluated by Petrobras.

New technologies

According to the manager at Metodo Potencial, foreign companies are going to bring their most advanced technologies for decommissioning offshore platforms.
One of them is a robot monitoring system, which takes pictures in deep water, in addition to the deep water jacket cutting system that will be brought from the United States.

The intention of Metodo Potencial is also to use a super crane (brought from abroad) to completely remove the platform and dismantle the structure on land, dividing the entire project into 3 parts.
The new technology will optimize the time for on-site activities and the company's role will be to manage the project, planning and de-energizing the equipment on board, in addition to rigging studies.
