The company started last week the delivery of fire water tanks, condensate storage tanks and process equipment skids contracted by Eneva, for the Azulão oil and gas project, in Amazonas.

According to the CEO of EBSE, Marcelo Bonilha, in an interview with Petronotícias, by the end of next month all the equipment will be delivered. “For us, this is a very important contract because Eneva is a large, important and traditional customer”, declared the executive.

Currently, in addition to these, the companhia has other oil and gas contracts in progress, and is also responsible for the engineering and supply phase for the manufacture of equipment for the FPSOs Búzios V and Mero 2. the manufacture of this equipment”, said the executive.

He also claims that despite the period of economic crisis due to Covid-19, the company continues to make investments and projects.

For example tube contracts, where the company made a very interesting sale to an important partner, AçoTubo, which is selling to Vale.

To meet the demand for orders for stainless steel tubes, the company also entered into a partnership with Schulz in Campos (RJ), for the manufacture of special alloy steel.

Marcelo Bonilha says that because EBSE is a company that does not have a serial product, the company's sales are by order.

He says that the firm has a consolidated presence in the oil and gas sector, but that it also has contracts with paper and cellulose companies Bracell and Klabin, in addition to being strengthening in the mining sector since the mining company Vale started working with pipes with API certification.

The company claims that despite the current scenario, it will not make layoffs this year 2020, as the company continues with projects and works until the end of this year.

In order to protect its employees from contamination by the new coronavirus, the company has implemented very strict protocols to avoid contamination at the factory, with no infected employee so far.
