Requirements to Participate in the Capes Contest and the Last Contest Held
Those interested in competing for the possible 50 positions of analyst in science and technology detailed in the announcement must have a higher education qualification. The initial salary for the position is R$ 6,875.47, with the addition of a meal allowance of R$ 658.
The bidding exemption extract, published by the Management Directorate of Capes, highlights the hiring of Cebraspe for the organization, planning and execution of the contest. The exemption followed Article 24, Item XIII of Law No. 8,666/93, supported by guidance from the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU).
The President of Capes, Mercedes Maria da Cunha Bustamante, confirmed the exemption on November 20, 2023, with a total value of R$ 883,858.75 designated for the hiring of Cebraspe.
It is worth noting that the last contest held by Capes took place in 2012, offering 140 positions for high school and higher education roles. At that time, Cebraspe was also the organizing committee.
The 70 positions for high school were aimed at the role of assistant in science and technology, with a requirement of one year of experience in the field. The 70 higher education positions were for the role of junior analyst in science and technology, covering areas such as archiving, library science, accounting, and general areas, each with specific requirements.
The objective test of the last contest featured 120 questions, divided between basic knowledge (50 questions) and specific knowledge (70 questions).
With the definition of the organizing committee, candidates are eagerly awaiting the publication of the official announcement, marking another step on the path to the 50 positions of analyst in science and technology at Capes.
