The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) has opened registrations for the IBGE Census Contest, which offers a total of 7,548 vacancies, with 6,742 vacancies for the Research Agent positions and 802 vacancies for the position of Mapping and Collection and Quality Supervisor. Registrations can be made until July 19!
This contest is part of the preparations for the 2023 Demographic Census, and a new contest is also planned for next year with an offer of 8,141 vacancies. The previous contest, held in 2022, offered 209,024 temporary vacancies for various positions related to the census. The current contest has several stages, and the organizing committees for the positions of Research and Mapping Agent and Collection and Quality Supervisor have already been defined.
Remuneration varies according to the position and the required education level. For the positions in the current IBGE contest, the remuneration is R$ 1,387.50 for Research and Mapping Agents and R$ 3,100.00 for Collection and Quality Supervisors. In addition to the salary, hires will have access to benefits such as Food Aid, Transportation Aid, and Preschool Aid.

Registrations for the IBGE Contest
Registrations for the contest can be made exclusively online, on the IBGE website CLICKING HERE, until July 19. The registration fee is R$ 42.20 for both positions. It is important to emphasize that there is a possibility to request a waiver of the fee for candidates who can prove financial hardship or who are bone marrow donors to entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.
