IFSP de Jacareí Offers Vacancies in Free Technical Courses in the Areas of Administration, Information Technology, and Interior Design, with Quota Reservations and Possibility of Exemption from the Enrollment Fee. Exams Take Place in December.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) has opened 160 free vacancies for technical courses at the Jacareí campus.
The opportunities are for Administration, Information Technology, and Interior Design, with entry in the first semester of 2026.
Applications must be made by October 20, 2025, exclusively through the website.

Applications and Deadlines at IFSP
The period for requesting fee exemption is from September 22 to October 1, 2025.
The benefit can be requested by candidates with a family income per capita of up to 1.5 minimum wage (R$ 2,277.00) who have studied all of elementary education in a public school or in a private school with full scholarship.
Additionally, each interested party can select up to three course options, as long as they are from the same modality (integrated, concomitant, or subsequent).
IFSP advises that the order of preference be checked carefully before finalizing the application.
Courses and Schedules in Jacareí
In the technical education integrated with high school, there are 40 vacancies for Administration and 40 vacancies for Information Technology, both in full-time.
In this modality, the student takes both high school and technical training at IFSP at the same time.
For the technical concomitant with high school, 40 vacancies are offered for Administration in the evening and 40 vacancies for Interior Design in the afternoon.
In this case, the student attends high school in another school and only does technical training at IFSP.
Classes in Jacareí are in-person and take place from Monday to Friday.
Enrollment Fee and Vacancy Reservations
The enrollment fee is R$ 60 for integrated courses and R$ 30 for concomitant and subsequent courses.
Half of the vacancies in each course are reserved for those who completed elementary education in a public school.
This reservation is subdivided for candidates of low income, Black, mixed-race, and Indigenous individuals, quilombola people, and people with disabilities, as stipulated in the public notice.
Those who do not fit into these categories may compete in the general admission process.
Selection Process of IFSP
The selection will be conducted through a multiple-choice exam with 30 questions.
There will be 15 in Portuguese Language and 15 in Mathematics, with content from 6th to 9th grade of elementary education.
The exam will be held on December 7, 2025, lasting three hours, in the municipality chosen at the time of enrollment.
Candidates who have not yet completed elementary education can participate as trainees, taking the exam without competing for vacancies.
Rules for Participation
In the courses integrated with high school, candidates must complete elementary education by the time of enrollment.
In the concomitant modality, it is necessary to be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school in another school.
For subsequent courses, candidates must have completed high school.
There is no age limit to participate in the selection process.
Candidates who intend to request fee exemption must submit documentation proving income and school history within the established deadline.
Preparation for the Exam
Since the evaluation will focus on Portuguese and Mathematics, it is recommended to review content such as text interpretation, grammatical classes, fractions, percentages, proportions, and problem-solving.
It is also important to check the required documents for the exam day, in addition to planning the travel to the exam location.
