Earn R$ 390 to Study at the Federal Institute (IFNMG): Free Qualification Courses in Administrative Assistant and Logistics Assistant

Have you ever thought about qualifying for the job market while receiving a scholarship? The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) has launched a new edital with 80 openings for two completely free qualification courses. In addition to acquiring new skills, approved students will be entitled to a cost aid of R$ 390. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to study and, at the same time, earn extra income. Applications for Edital 80/2024 are already open, and the available courses are Administrative Assistant and Logistics Assistant.

With the publication of the edital, IFNMG begins the selection process for the free Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses, offering 40 vacancies for each course. Selected candidates will also receive a scholarship worth R$ 3.25 per class hour, totaling R$ 390 at the end of the course. Both courses aim to train residents of Janaúba, expanding the supply of qualified labor in administrative and logistical areas, which are fundamental for local development. Classes will be held in person, with a total workload of 120 hours.

Administrative Assistant: Practical and Theoretical Training

The Administrative Assistant course focuses on training participants to perform support functions within companies. Among the main skills developed are document organization, customer service, agenda management, and use of computer tools. Upon completion of the course, students will be ready to take on administrative tasks and contribute to the efficient operation of various organizations.

Logistics Assistant: Preparation for Operational Efficiency

The Logistics Assistant course aims to train professionals who can work in logistics processes, from inventory management to the transportation and distribution of goods. Students will learn about product receipt and shipping, logistical planning, and the use of information technology to optimize the supply chain. This training is highly valued in the job market, especially in companies seeking operational efficiency.

Positions and Selection Criteria

There are 40 openings for each course, with 50% of the positions reserved for women and 20% for self-declared Black, Brown, or Indigenous people. Candidates who fit into more than one reserved category must choose which one they wish to compete for. Applications are free and can be submitted until September 24, 2024, on the FADETEC website, which organizes the selection process. If the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies, selection will be based on criteria such as being a resident of the Quem-Quem community, being registered in CadÚnico, and gender and ethnicity categories.

Benefits and Course Duration

In addition to professional qualification, students will be entitled to a financial aid scholarship for transportation and food, which will be paid proportionally to the hours attended in classes. The total amount can reach R$ 390. Classes will take place in the evening, from Monday to Friday, between October and November 2024. Some practical activities may occur during the day, ensuring complete and practical training.
