With the publication of the edital, IFNMG begins the selection process for the free Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses, offering 40 vacancies for each course. Selected candidates will also receive a scholarship worth R$ 3.25 per class hour, totaling R$ 390 at the end of the course. Both courses aim to train residents of Janaúba, expanding the supply of qualified labor in administrative and logistical areas, which are fundamental for local development. Classes will be held in person, with a total workload of 120 hours.
Administrative Assistant: Practical and Theoretical Training
The Administrative Assistant course focuses on training participants to perform support functions within companies. Among the main skills developed are document organization, customer service, agenda management, and use of computer tools. Upon completion of the course, students will be ready to take on administrative tasks and contribute to the efficient operation of various organizations.

Candidates who fit into more than one reserved category must choose which one they wish to compete for. Applications are free and can be submitted until September 24, 2024, on the FADETEC website, which organizes the selection process. If the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies, selection will be based on criteria such as being a resident of the Quem-Quem community, being registered in CadÚnico, and gender and ethnicity categories.
Benefits and Course Duration
In addition to professional qualification, students will be entitled to a financial aid scholarship for transportation and food, which will be paid proportionally to the hours attended in classes. The total amount can reach R$ 390. Classes will take place in the evening, from Monday to Friday, between October and November 2024. Some practical activities may occur during the day, ensuring complete and practical training.
