The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) has hundreds of new free courses in distance education (EAD). In total, 198 EAD courses are being offered to the public and interested individuals must simply register online to start studying.

It is worth noting that there are several other EAD courses in addition to the ones mentioned above. Registrations for the Federal Institute’s courses must be done by the student themselves on the IFRS website.

Senai will pay up to R$ 700 per month for those who take free technical courses: there are 12,000 open positions across Brazil and training with access to the technology market.
Those interested in enrolling in the free distance education courses must have a CPF or passport (if foreign) and an email account. Upon registering, students can already start attending classes. The deadline to register for most EAD courses is until July 31 of this year.
There are EAD course options in the areas of health, agriculture, pedagogy, marketing, finance, languages, and business.
The course loads, which range between 4 and 200 hours, can be completed according to the student’s available schedule. At the end, if approved, the student receives a certificate that they issue themselves. It is possible to take more than one course simultaneously. The approval criteria may differ for each program.
