UECE Opens Registrations for Hundreds of Openings in 5 Free Distance Postgraduate Courses with Certification Recognized by MEC Until March.
The Ceará State University recently published a notice with 900 openings in free distance postgraduate courses. The programs offer certification recognized by MEC. The postgraduate courses are aimed at holders of a diploma in any field of knowledge in the full degree, bachelor’s, or technological graduation modalities.

The distance postgraduate courses with certification recognized by MEC are in specialization in Auditing and Internal Control, Public Accounting, Internal Control, Public Accounting, Public Management, and Municipal Public Management.
These programs aim to qualify higher education personnel, focusing on training management staff to work in the administration of macro (government), micro (organizational units), and public systems.

In conjunction with the expertise and mission of the State Court of Accounts of Ceará, through the Plácido Castelo Institute, the free distance postgraduate courses with certification recognized by MEC aim to serve primarily municipal and state jurisdictions, and if there are leftover vacancies, the general public. Here are the units where the courses will be available:

In the event that the vacancies at the designated face-to-face support hubs are not filled, they may be reassigned to other hubs with classified students, observing the infrastructure conditions of each hub and the prior agreement of the Hub Coordinator.
Register and Participate in the Distance Postgraduate Courses
Registration for the free distance postgraduate courses with certification recognized by MEC must be done exclusively online through the UECE website.
At the time of registration, the candidate must choose a single course linked to a single face-to-face support hub, according to the indicative table present in the notice. The registration fee for the selection process is R$ 100 to be paid at Banco do Brasil.
Applicants who comply with State Law No. 12,559/1995 will be exempt from paying the registration fee and must attach the supporting documents described in the notice. When filling out the registration form, the candidate must attach copies of documents in pdf format such as:
- Identity card (RG);
- Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF);
- Proof of residence;
- Copy of the Voter Registration Card with proof of having voted in the last election.
Selection Process Stages
The first stage for the free distance postgraduate courses consists of registration, and candidates who are approved will have 24 hours, after the result announcement, to make the necessary adjustments through administrative resources via email: sate@uece.br.
The second stage will consist of a test with questions selected randomly, held online, with 20 multiple-choice questions, 15 of specific content worth 6 points each, and 5 on distance education content, worth 2 points each. The specific content questions will be prepared taking into account the Course Pedagogical Project.
The last stage for the distance postgraduate courses with certification recognized by MEC will be the evaluation of titles, which will follow the structure and evaluation criteria outlined in Annex 1 of the notice. The documents must be attached to the online form available at the address indicated in the Event Schedule of the notice, following the indicated dates.
