For this Friday, (12/08), the SiDi Institute, one of the largest organizations focused on research and innovation projects in the national market, has a partnership established with the TDE Group, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, focusing on developing solutions for the oil and natural gas sector. In this way, SiDi intends to invest in the national energy sector and rely on the experience of the TDE Group to ensure greater efficiency in its projects.

The TDE Group has become the newest partner of the SiDi Institute for developing innovation projects in the oil and gas sector, aiming to enable companies in the field to achieve new levels of operational excellence in terms of safety, efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and cost reduction. In this way, the institute aims to open new doors in the Brazilian energy market through this partnership.

The SiDi Institute has been accredited by the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) since 2020 and is therefore qualified to participate in calls for technological solution projects funded by financial support from the oil and natural gas sector in Brazil.

In this way, the company intends to invest in three specific scenarios in its oil and gas projects: Artificial Intelligence (AI), computer vision, and data science, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, the primary areas requiring attention in modernizing the sector.

Thus, the partnership with the TDE Group will enable the development of projects focused on the energy market, and the institute intends to utilize the expertise of the group from the United Arab Emirates to meet the demands of the national territory.

Tadeu Vidal, business consultant of SiDi for the oil and gas market, emphasized that the innovation projects to be developed will be based on complex analyses of the available data across various scenarios, utilizing the knowledge of both parties in the partnership.

The TDE Group is one of the most relevant players in the energy landscape of the United Arab Emirates, providing innovation and technology solutions for over 150 clients worldwide and identifying a potential saving of more than US$ 500 million annually.

Recently, the company opened a division within the group to focus on developing patented industrial solutions for the production of hydrogen free of CO2 emissions, investing in the international energy transition market.

Now, with the partnership with the SiDi Institute, the group will have even greater opportunities to expand its presence in the Brazilian market, and Gerhard Thonhauser, CEO of the TDE Group, celebrated: “TDE is very excited about this collaboration with SiDi, in one of our most important markets. Together, we want to collaborate with the Brazilian oil and gas industry, developing exclusive technologies to improve drilling and well operations and reduce CO2 footprint.”
