However, even with the replacement of professions, some will gain prominence in the job market in 2025.
Understand How the Survey on the Job Market Was Conducted
The report on the Future of Jobs 2025 shows that while new jobs will always emerge, many professions will be replaced by AI and are in rapid decline. According to the research, technologies like Artificial Intelligence “are radically transforming the job market” and will eliminate thousands of jobs.
The survey was conducted with over a thousand employers worldwide, representing 14 million workers across 22 different sectors. The data shows that about 92 million jobs will be eliminated globally, representing 8% of the current workforce, by 2030.

Despite projections for these sectors, the study also predicts that approximately 170 million new jobs are expected to emerge by 2030, with an emphasis on technology-related fields and professional training to mitigate the impacts of the changes.
According to the document, workers need to quickly adapt to the new demands of the job market, seeking improvement in strategic areas such as data science, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
