A Bill Is Circulating in the Federal Chamber for Approval and Seeks to Secure New Investments for Four Brazilian State-Owned Companies. About R$ 113 Million Would Be Allocated to the Companies TBG, Correios, CDP, and Infraero.
Even amid privatization projects and the transfer of state assets to the national private market, a bill aimed at attracting improvements to four state-owned companies is circulating this Monday (10/24) in the Federal Chamber. The National Congress Bill (PLN) 33/22, from the Executive Power, provides investments of R$ 113 million for logistical and operational improvements for the state-owned companies TBG, Correios, CDP, and Infraero.
With the Bill, TBG Will Receive Investments of R$ 75.85 Million for the Acquisition of Necessary Inputs for Operations
The first company to benefit from the bill is the Brazilian Transporter Bolivian-Brazilian Gas Pipeline (TBG). According to the project, it will receive around R$ 75.8 million for the acquisition of necessary inputs for the continuity of operations.
Although this amount was planned for the year 2021, it was postponed to 2022, as the prices of packaged gas were higher than expected for the budget.

The current Executive bill also provides for the allocation of R$ 33.46 million in investments for the Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company (ECT).
