Electric Van Can Surprise Consumers with Its Great Range
According to JAC Motors, the first fully electric van that can carry a large weight in the national market has a much lower maintenance cost compared to a conventional one with a diesel engine. This is because the electric car does not have a transmission, fuel injectors, clutch, fuel pump, and other components that need to be replaced constantly.
The electric van will be sold for approximately R$ 386.990 still in June of this year, with the first deliveries happening a month later. In the electric van sector, BYD is the market leader, but its models have a lower carrying capacity, such as the BYD eT3, which can carry 720 kg with a range of 300 km, according to the manufacturer.
