Model Aims for Power, Modern Connectivity, and Removable Battery, Combining Professional Features with a Portable Design Designed for Parties and Events in Different Environments.
JBL has introduced the PartyBox Encore 2 to the Brazilian market, announced in April 2025, aimed at combining portability and sound power in a single product, positioned as the successor to the first generation of the Encore line.
The launch comes with 100 W RMS of continuous power, a combination of a 135 mm woofer and two 25 mm tweeters, and a frequency response between 40 Hz and 20 kHz.
Highlighting the AI Sound Boost technology, which automatically adapts the sound in real-time for more clarity and power.

Furniture made with aluminum and glass does not warp and has become an alternative to replace MDF in Brazil.
Thanks to this feature, the model adjusts bass, midrange, and treble according to the environment, in addition to enhancing the overall audio quality.
The Bluetooth 5.4 connection with LE Audio increases energy efficiency and maintains greater stability during transmissions.
The PartyBox Encore 2 costs R$ 2,699, according to JBL’s Brazilian website, and is also available in other countries for prices corresponding to € 349.99 at launch.

Removable Battery with Fast Charging
The internal battery promises up to 15 hours of continuous use, under standard conditions — medium volume and no lighting or bass boost.
The fast charging guarantees about 80 minutes additional use with just 10 min of charge.
The battery is removable, which facilitates swapping during extended sessions — although tools are needed to access the compartment.
Compared to its predecessor, the autonomy has nearly doubled (from the previous generation, which had around 6 to 10 hours).
In real usage tests, with volume around 80 %, active lighting, and elevated equalization, the duration reaches approximately 7 hours, while at maximum volume, it drops to about 3 hours.
Connectivity with Auracast and Bluetooth 5.4
In addition to Bluetooth 5.4, the speaker supports Auracast™, allowing wireless pairing with up to 100 compatible devices, whether speakers or lights from the PartyBox line.
It features a USB-C port that serves both for charging external devices and for audio connection.
The auxiliary XLR/P10 input allows connection of a guitar or microphone.
The product comes with two wireless microphones — unlike the Essential version, which only has an input for a wired microphone.
Microphone volume control, bass, treble, and echo adjustments can be made directly from the speaker or in the JBL PartyBox app.
Portable Design with Water Resistance
Despite being robust, the speaker was designed to be portable, with a ergonomic handle and built to withstand IPX4 rating against water splashes.
Although the weight is considerable, the compact design facilitates handling, reflecting the idea of a “compact giant.”
The lighting synchronized with the music enhances the festive look, with options for different light modes, and can be expanded when paired with other JBL products that support Auracast.
Sound Quality with Artificial Intelligence
In addition to the AI Sound Boost, the PartyBox Encore 2 surprises with its maximum volume and audio definition, especially compared to its predecessor.
Users abroad report more clarity in midrange and treble, although there is some disagreement about the bass level.
In tests, the speaker proved suitable for parties of up to 15 people and, when connected directly to power, provides greater power and sound presence.
Performance in practice is also praised by Brazilian consumers of the previous generation: “Very happy with my little speaker with microphones, I’ve already used it for work…”
Comparison with the Previous Model
Compared to the original PartyBox Encore, the new model stands out for its removable battery, increased autonomy, connectivity with Auracast, and features like USB-C and support for musical instruments.
According to community reports, the new design provides cleaner and more portable listening — although opinions are divided on the extent of the bass.
