The Price Fell R$ 16,500 in the 2026 Line, but the Top of the Line Model at R$ 282,490 Still Does Not Offer 360 Camera or Oil Sump Protector.
The Jeep Compass 2026 arrives in the Brazilian market with important news: the BlackHawk version is R$ 16,500 cheaper, now costing R$ 282,490, but it still does not offer expected features in a model of this level, such as a 360 camera and oil sump protector. The detailed evaluation was published by the Stanley Ravagnani channel, which tested the SUV in Sting Grey color.
According to the creator, the Compass maintained its identity as a mid-sized premium SUV, with refined finishing, strong performance, and a complete set of driving assistance features.
However, the cuts in equipment continue generating criticism among consumers comparing the top-version with cheaper direct rivals.

Design and External Equipment
The Compass 2026 BlackHawk features a full LED optical set in low and high beams, LED DRL, but still uses halogen turn signals.
The bumper is painted in the body color, there are LED fog lights, and the traditional seven-slat grille receives a shiny black finish.
The SUV comes with ACC radar, parking sensors, park assist, and blind spot detection.
Despite the extensive list, the most criticized point by the evaluator is the absence of an oil sump protector, leaving the oil filter exposed in a car that exceeds R$ 280 thousand.
In profile, the model showcases 19-inch matte black wheels, red brake calipers, and Pirelli Scorpion tires with self-repair technology.
At the back, it offers a dual functional exhaust outlet, taillights partially in LED, and a 410-liter electric trunk, but again without fully LED rear lighting.
Engine, Performance, and Consumption

The main highlight is the mechanical set. The 2.0 turbo gasoline engine delivers 272 hp and 40.9 kgfm of torque, coupled with the 9-speed automatic ZF transmission and all-wheel drive.
The performance is impressive: 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, with agile and secure driving.
According to Inmetro, the consumption is 8.5 km/l in the city and 10.8 km/l on the highway.
The video reinforces the need to use quality gasoline due to direct injection, already adapted to the 30% anhydrous ethanol content of gasoline sold in Brazil.
The thermal system was praised for having two cooling circuits, one dedicated exclusively to the turbo.
Interior, Comfort, and Technology
The internal finishing is considered one of the strengths of the Compass 2026.
The model features improved acoustic insulation, a rubberized dashboard with stitched leather, electrically adjustable front seats in leather and suede, a multifunction steering wheel, and a 10.25” digital cluster with detailed information about the engine, transmission, and fuel consumption.
The 10.1” multimedia center is fast and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in addition to integrating climate control and a rearview camera.
The air conditioning is digital with two zones, and there is a wireless charger, USB-A and USB-C ports, an electric parking brake, and a terrain mode selector.
In the rear seat, adequate space, air vents, and USB connections complete the set, although the wide central tunnel limits comfort for those traveling in the middle.
Positive and Negative Points
Among the positive points, the evaluator highlights: engine performance, suspension quality, comfort of the seats, onboard technology, and safety assistance package.
As for the negative points, it was mentioned the lack of a 360 camera, the absence of an oil sump protector, taillights not fully in LED, in addition to finishing details on the rear doors below expectations.
Even so, the final score given to the model was 9.5, reinforcing that, despite the criticisms, the Compass remains one of the most complete options in the segment.
The Jeep Compass 2026 BlackHawk is an SUV that combines power, technology, and refinement, but still leaves gaps in standard items that consumers consider basic for its price range.
The drop of R$ 16,500 in value helps its competitiveness, but the lack of a 360 camera and oil sump protector continue to be points of concern.
And you, do you think the Jeep Compass 2026 BlackHawk delivers on its promise for the price of R$ 282 thousand, or is it still lacking compared to rivals?
