New Launch from Haojue/Suzuki Delivers 25 HP of Power
The new Suzuki Haojue GSX-250R motorcycle features lightweight alloy wheels, a petal disc with ABS at the front, traditional telescopic suspension, and its new LED headlight has caught the attention of riders. The Haojue/Suzuki launch is well-faired and boasts an amazing design that would look great in the Brazilian market, but its price is a barrier. The new Suzuki motorcycle also features a slipper and assist clutch.
This is a new motorcycle from Suzuki produced by Haojue, despite the graphics. The rear also presents a modern look, with LED lights, halogen turn signals, and a classic Suzuki graphic inspired by race bikes. Still in structure, the Haojue GSX-250R features a semi-handlebar, a digital panel, and a split seat that keeps the passenger away from the rider.

The seat height is low, at just 790 mm, the tank has a capacity of 15 liters, and the motorcycle comes with 17-inch wheels. This launch from Haojue/Suzuki has the same engine as the V Strom 250, a liquid-cooled twin-cylinder producing 25 HP of power and 2.4 kgfm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission.
How Much Does The New Suzuki Motorcycle Cost?
This new launch from Haojue/Suzuki is a bit cheaper than the V Strom, costing 21,680 yuan, around R$ 16,930 in conversion to our currency, but without considering taxes. However, it is still complicated to bring to the Brazilian market, as we have Bajaj motorcycles, for example, which offer great cost-effectiveness, making this model somewhat unfeasible here.
It is important to mention that Haojue is accelerating strongly at the beginning of 2024. The Chinese company, a long-time partner of Suzuki and represented in Brazil by JTZ, has grown over 50% compared to the same period last year, which had already been its best calendar in the country.
According to a report presented, Haojue’s registrations grew by 80% over the 2022 results, advancing from 8,913 to 15,992 motorcycles. This volume led the Chinese brand to end the year in 5th place for registrations, according to the Fenabrave ranking.
The best-selling Haojue motorcycles in 2023 were the city DR 160 and the trail NK 150, with 3,607 and 1,611 sealed units, respectively. The best-selling Suzuki models last year were the naked GSX-S750 and the sporty Hayabusa, with 590 and 148 registered units, respectively.
Haojue Grows Over 50% In 2024
Haojue started being represented by JTZ in Brazil in 2017. Even stronger in early 2024, between January and February, there were 2,889 units registered, according to Fenabrave data. This means a 54.9% increase compared to the 1,865 sold in the first two months of 2023. In fact, except for the DK 160, all of its motorcycles are selling more now than last year.
Registrations of the DR 160, Haojue’s best-selling model, grew by 130% in the first two months of this year compared to the same period in 2023. Moreover, the motorcycle ranks among the 10 most registered city models in the country, according to the Fenabrave ranking, since May 2023.
