Wilson Sons reported a net profit of R$67 million in the third quarter of 2022, a value 92% above the comparison for 2021.
In total for the first nine months of 2022, the company’s net profit was R$226 million, demonstrating a growth of 24% compared to the same period last year and surpassing the net result recorded over the twelve months of 2021.
Wilson Sons’ net revenue, in turn, grew 8% over the first nine months of 2021, totaling R$ 1.7 billion in 2022.

Satisfactory Results
Having been listed in the Novo Mercado segment under the code PORT3, the maritime company Wilson Sons released its financial results on Wednesday, 09/11, after the close of trading on B3 S.A. — Brazil, Stock Exchange, OTC (B3), the Brazilian stock exchange.
The company’s robust results in the third quarter reflect the good performance of the tugboat and international logistics (Allink) businesses.
The revenues from logistics tugboats of Wilson Sons increased by 15% due to an increase in operational activity and average revenue per maneuver. In Allink, the results benefited from increased demand and revenue growth from both shipowners and terminals.
Highlights of the Third Quarter of 2022
In the third quarter, one of the major highlights was the delivery of the WS Orion by the company’s shipyard, the second in a series of six tugs with over 90 tons of static traction that will join the company’s fleet in the next two years.
The vessels follow the Tier III standard of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the new hydrodynamic design improves hull efficiency allowing for a reduction of up to 14% in greenhouse gas emissions compared to the previous technology.
The WS Orion also marks an important milestone for Wilson Sons. It is the 150th vessel built at the company’s shipyards.
