• Prerequisites: Completed Degree; Category: OSM; Rule: III/2; Experience managing engine room teams; All certifications up to date; Previous experience on vessels; Desired experience with container ships; CIR (Registration and Enrollment Book); Proof of Covid-19 vaccination from the Conect Sus application showing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd doses; International Yellow Fever Certificate; Valid passport.
• Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the technical, economic, disciplinary, and administrative direction of the section under your charge, as the person in charge of the Engine Room Section; Responsible for the conservation, maintenance, and cleanliness of all devices, accessories, and equipment in the engine room section; Receive and execute orders from the Captain, while also observing the guidelines from the Base Maintenance Manager and the shipowner regarding the service of your section; Control extraordinary services performed and authorized by the Captain; Organize service details and assign individual tasks to all personnel in your section to maximize personnel utilization both in watch service and division service; Personally manage all operations of the vessel in the engine room.
