MAN Unveils the TGX Individual Lion S, Truck with the World’s Largest Cabin: 2.4 m Internal Height, King-Size Bed, Digital Panel, and Comfort Worthy of a Motorhome.
The German MAN Truck & Bus, one of the most traditional manufacturers of heavy vehicles in Europe, raised the standard of comfort and technology in road transport in February 2021, with the launch of the TGX Individual Lion S GX, the top model in the TGX range. The truck is officially the vehicle with the largest driver’s cabin ever produced in series in the world.
The highlight is the GX cabin, with impressive 2.44 meters of internal height, which transforms the interior of the truck into a true home on wheels.
The project is a direct result of MAN’s philosophy of “premium driver experience” — a cabin designed to offer motorhome comfort, residential space, and luxury car safety, all within a cargo truck.
GX Cabin: The Largest Interior Ever Made in a Production Truck
The GX cabin of the MAN TGX Lion S is a work of engineering and ergonomics.
With 2.44 m of free height, 2.28 m of internal width, and over 12 m³ of useful volume, the space is so large that the driver can stand completely upright, move around, and even stretch inside the truck.

With a 293.5 cm³ engine and a range of up to 400 km with a 14.1-liter tank, the Honda CB 300F Twister 2026 has up to 24.7 hp, an initial price of R$ 25,150, and already exceeds R$ 29,000 in the Fipe Table.

The interior is upholstered with premium materials and multi-zone ambient lighting, as well as enhanced acoustic insulation. The setup includes two beds — one of which is king-size, overhead cabinets with over 700 liters of capacity, refrigerator, USB-C ports, coffee station, and retractable TV.
Every detail has been designed to transform long journeys into a comfortable and productive experience, with unprecedented living levels in cargo transport.
Plenty of Power: Up to 640 Hp from the D38 Euro 6 Engine
Under the flat floor of the cabin, the MAN TGX Individual Lion S houses the D38 Euro 6d engine, with 15.2 liters and a maximum power of 640 hp — one of the most powerful engines in its category.
The setup is coupled with the TipMatic 12+2 automated transmission, prioritizing torque and fuel economy.
The truck can smoothly tow up to 70 tons while maintaining efficient fuel consumption thanks to the EfficientCruise system, which uses GPS and telemetry to adjust the gear according to the topography of the road.
In road tests, the average consumption remained in the range of 2.9 to 3.2 km/l, impressive figures for a 40-ton vehicle.
Exclusive Design and Custom Details
The Lion S GX is the pinnacle of the TGX line, and this is reflected in its design. The exterior features a two-tone metallic paint, polished aluminum wheels, and the iconic “Lion S” signature on the doors — an emblem that symbolizes the pinnacle of MAN engineering.
The headlights are full LED Matrix, the side skirts have a carbon fiber finish, and the external mirrors have been replaced with digital cameras, reducing aerodynamic drag.
At the rear, the lion logo is backlit, reinforcing the special character of the version.
The truck is produced in Munich, Germany, in a semi-automated process that combines robotic precision with manual finishing.
Embedded Technology and Digital Cockpit
The panel of the TGX GX is a spectacle in itself. The MAN Digital Cockpit features two 12-inch displays — one for instruments and the other for infotainment — with configurable graphics and full compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
There is also the MAN SmartSelect, a rotary control similar to that of BMWs, which allows operation of the multimedia system without taking hands off the central armrest. The truck also offers adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane-keeping assistance (LKS), collision warning with automatic braking, and intelligent cruise control (EfficientCruise).

The seats are climate-controlled and have a massage function, while the multifunction steering wheel is electronically adjustable for depth and tilt.

An Office on Wheels
More than just a truck, the TGX GX Lion S is a mobile office. The vehicle was developed for transport companies that value the quality of life for drivers and seek maximum productivity on long routes. MAN incorporated airplane cabin ergonomics, seats with pneumatic suspension, and an intelligent climate control system that adapts airflow to the driver’s position while driving.
The thermal insulation allows for maintaining the ideal temperature even on polar or desert routes, with energy efficiency.
Exclusivity and Price
In Europe, the MAN TGX Individual Lion S GX is available by order through the “MAN Individual” program, which customizes paint, finishes, and interior layout. The starting price begins at € 160,000 (approximately R$ 930,000) and can exceed € 220,000 depending on the level of customization.

Among European drivers and companies, the model has gained fame as the “most comfortable truck in the world”, and is often compared to luxury motorhomes.
Luxury, Strength, and Space in One Vehicle
The MAN TGX Individual Lion S GX represents the pinnacle of heavy truck engineering.
With a 2.4-meter-high cabin, a 640 hp engine, cutting-edge embedded technology, and hotel five-star-worthy comfort, the model transforms work on the roads into a first-class experience.
It’s the kind of vehicle that redefines what it means to drive — or live — inside a truck.
