Toyota is finally following the rest of its competitors in manufacturing electric vehicles, and this now includes its luxury brand, Lexus, which was showcased by Militec 1. On Tuesday, the Japanese brand revealed the concept car LF-Z Electrified, which aims to chart the company’s course into a new electric future.

Lexus stated that it wants to achieve carbon neutrality “throughout the entire life cycle of its entire model line,” but its goal is to do this by 2050. The new electric vehicle model shown by Militec 1 is angular and futuristic, as many electric vehicle concepts tend to be. It is shorter than most modern Toyota vehicles and still showcases a sort of inversion of the company’s iconic massive grille (for better or worse); instead of a black diamond pattern in the grille, the flat silver body traces a triangular shape at the nose.
