The Brazilian Navy Has Just Announced the Opening of the Public Competition for Admission to the Technical Frame of the Corps of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Navy.
Applications are open for the Public Competition for Admission to the Technical Frame of the Corps of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Navy, in 2023 by the Brazilian Navy (CP-QTPA/2023). Applications are open from 07/24/2023 to 08/20/2023. The positions for technicians aim to prepare and train candidates to work in the operation and maintenance of submarines and nuclear facilities of the Navy.

A total of 10 positions have been made available across various fields; candidates may only apply in one of the available Technical Areas, such as:
- Industrial Automation Technician;
- Electronics Technician;

- Electromechanical Technician;
- Industrial Machine Maintenance Technician;

Those interested must be native or naturalized Brazilians, at least 18 years old and less than 225 years old, male, have completed or be in the process of completing a technical high school course related to the Technical Area they are applying for by the date of enrollment in the course, and have a minimum height of 1.54m and a maximum of 2m.

Submit Your Application for the Brazilian Navy Competition
Applications must be made solely on the Brazilian Navy’s website. The application fee for the competition with positions for technicians is R$ 75.
The public competition consists of a Written Objective Test (PO) on Professional Knowledge for each Technical Area and Essay, Verification of Biographical Data (VDB), Physical Aptitude Test for Admission (TAF-i), Health Inspection, Psychological Evaluation (AP), Final Selection Result (RF), and Document Verification.
The Objective Test and the Essay for the Brazilian Navy competition will last 4 hours. The PO for each Technical Area will focus on verifying the candidate’s basic and professional training and will consist of 50 questions developed according to the programs in the announcement.
The Essay will aim to assess the candidate’s written expression ability and adherence to formal writing norms in the Portuguese language. The TAF-i focuses on assessing whether the candidate’s physical aptitude meets the physical standards required for a military career, and consists of swimming and running.
