The Ministry of Education (MEC) and CAPES have opened registrations for over 4,000 spots in free Professional Master’s courses aimed at teachers from various subjects. Course Objectives and Workload

The Professional Master’s programs from MEC aim to equip teachers with advanced training, updating and expanding their pedagogical skills. The courses are offered in face-to-face and hybrid modalities and have a workload that varies depending on the program. Selection Processes

Each master’s program has its own selection process, which may include a curriculum analysis, written examination, or presentation of a research project. In addition, many programs offer reserved spots for affirmative actions, benefiting teachers who belong to specific ethnic and social groups, such as Black, Indigenous, and quilombola individuals.

Application Requirements

To participate in the selection process for the professional master’s program, candidates must have completed higher education and work as teachers in public or private educational institutions.
