The Ministry of Education (MEC) and CAPES have opened registrations for over 4,000 spots in free Professional Master’s courses aimed at teachers from various subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for education professionals who want to enhance their skills and transform their careers through high-quality qualifications.

Course Objectives and Workload

The Professional Master’s programs from MEC aim to equip teachers with advanced training, updating and expanding their pedagogical skills. The courses are offered in face-to-face and hybrid modalities and have a workload that varies depending on the program. Activities include theoretical classes, seminars, forums, and practical project development, always focusing on direct application in the classroom.

Available Spots and Locations

In total, 4,196 spots are offered in professional master’s programs distributed across 264 higher education institutions throughout Brazil. These MEC programs serve teachers from various fields, such as History, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Philosophy, Geography, and Biology. The spots are distributed among renowned institutions that are spread across all regions of the country, facilitating access for professionals to the nearest universities.

Selection Processes

Each master’s program has its own selection process, which may include a curriculum analysis, written examination, or presentation of a research project. Application Requirements
