The Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Aprenda Mais platform, offers the public an extensive variety of free courses in online format, all with certificate issuance. There are, in total, 255 programs in strategic areas for the job market.
Open Access and Free Professional Training
Focusing on professional qualification, the courses are classified as MOOCs — an English acronym for Massive Open Online Courses — and are offered by institutions of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education. The aim is to broaden the reach of technical education and facilitate access to knowledge in a democratic manner.

Learn About the Federal Network Behind the Project
Officially launched in 2008 through Law No. 11,892, the Federal Network of Professional Education brings together public institutions dedicated to free technical and technological training throughout the country.
Currently, the network has 685 teaching units, consisting of 38 Federal Institutes, two Cefets, UTFPR, 22 technical schools integrated with federal universities, and Colégio Pedro II, providing a solid foundation for the expansion of vocational education.
