The MEC has expanded the Learn More platform with 22 new courses. Access, study at your own pace and earn a certificate.

The Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Learn More platform, makes available to the public an extensive variety of courses free in online format, all with certificate issuance. There are, in total, 255 formations in strategic areas for the job market.

Free and open access professional training

With a focus on professional qualification, the courses are classified as MOOCs — an acronym for Massive Open Online Courses — and are offered by institutions in the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. The goal is to expand the scope of technical education and facilitate access to knowledge in a democratic way.

Meet the Federal Network behind the project

Officially launched in 2008 through Law No. 11.892, the Federal Network of Professional Education brings together public institutions dedicated to free technical and technological training throughout the country.

Currently, the network has 685 teaching units, made up of 38 Federal Institutes, two Cefets, UTFPR, 22 technical schools integrated into federal universities and Colégio Pedro II, offering a solid base for the expansion of professional education.

Registration and certificate issuance

The courses on the Aprenda Mais platform are available free of charge, without requiring a selection process. Participants can enroll in as many courses as they wish and, upon completing each one, receive a digital certificate of completion.
