Discover Why the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 Is One of the Most Complete and Depreciated Sedans in the Brazilian Market, Offering a Lot for Less than 35 Thousand Reais.

The used car market in Brazil is full of options, but not all are well-regarded by consumers. A classic example is the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015. Despite being a sedan with impressive features, including alloy wheels, disc brakes on all four wheels, and excellent interior space, it faces strong rejection. Is it a mistake to ignore this model? Let’s analyze the details and find out what it really offers, including in terms of engine and consumption.

When we talk about affordable sedans, the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 stands out for its cost-benefit ratio. Currently, you can find this car in the used market for prices ranging from 30 to 35 thousand reais. It’s a very competitive price, especially considering the level of equipment it offers. With alloy wheels, disc brakes on all four wheels, and even cruise control in some versions, the Linea should be a logical choice for those looking for a complete car at an affordable price.

Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 Is One of the Most Depreciated Models in the Brazilian Market

Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015

Despite these qualities, the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 is one of the most depreciated models in the Brazilian market. This depreciation is partly due to the fact that Fiat failed to position it correctly in the market. Derived from the Punto, it was supposed to compete with compact sedans like the Honda City and Toyota Etios, but its size and characteristics place it closer to rivals like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. At 4.57 meters long, 1.70 meters wide and 1.50 meters high, the Linea is definitely more spacious than its compact competitors, but it has been overshadowed by larger and more popular models.

Engine and Consumption

The Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 has an engine that is both a strength and a weakness. The engine and consumption of this car are often discussed by enthusiasts. With 130 horsepower and 18.4 kgfm of torque at 4,500 rpm, it offers reasonable performance, but nothing that impresses. This engine, shared with other Fiat models like the Bravo and Punto, is robust and known for its durability. However, its fuel consumption is somewhat high by today’s standards, averaging around 8 to 9 km/l in the city and up to 14 km/l on the highway, depending on driving conditions and the driver’s foot.

Different Equipment Levels in the Same Models

Another factor that affected the popularity of the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 was Fiat’s decision to offer equipment packages inconsistently. It was not uncommon to find Linea Essence units with different equipment levels, complicating consumers’ lives and harming the car’s valuation in the used market. Some models came with digital air conditioning and parking sensors, while others lacked these items despite sharing the same version name.

It’s a Spacious Car

However, for those looking for a spacious, comfortable car with a good cost-benefit ratio, the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 is an option to consider. Its 500-liter trunk is larger than many competitors, and the interior space is generous, comfortably accommodating five passengers. The interior finishing, while simple, is functional, and the car offers good ergonomics, with enough adjustments to ensure a comfortable driving position.

Maintenance? OK

In terms of maintenance, the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 is not a car that requires high investments. The parts are shared with other popular Fiat models, making it easy to find components at affordable prices. The engine uses a timing chain instead of a timing belt, which reduces preventive maintenance costs.

The Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015 may not have captured the market as Fiat expected, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad choice. For those seeking a complete, spacious sedan at an attractive price, it offers excellent value for money. The engine and consumption are points to consider, but for many, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, especially compared to rivals that can cost up to 30 thousand reais more. If you are willing to give a chance to a car rejected by many, the Linea can be a surprisingly satisfying choice.

Now, I want to know your opinion: what did you think of the Fiat Linea Essence 1.8 16v 2015? Is it worth giving a chance to this sedan that offers so much for such an affordable price?

Tenho um 13/14…. absolute dualogic… já é o segundo que compro… gosto muito. Barato e de baixa manutenção, com acessórios top, que na concorrência, qualquer seria o dobro do valor…
