Microsoft Launched the Girls Power Course in Partnership with WoMakersCode, Offering 5,000 Spots for Women Interested in Low Code/No Code Programming on Power Platform. With Nine Classes, Participants of the Free Course Will Develop Projects and Compete for Certification Vouchers.
Microsoft announces the opening of registrations for the third edition of Girls Power, a free course in low code/no code programming on Power Platform exclusively for women. Aiming to promote diversity and inclusion in the technology field, the program offers 5,000 spots, encouraging women aged 18 and older with a high school diploma to explore the world of programming.
The registrations are already open and can be made online. Additionally, there will be only 9 classes, spread over the months of March and April, always in the evening. This allows more women to adapt to the schedule and take the free programming course.
When Will the Classes of the Free Microsoft Course Be Held?
The program, conducted in partnership with WoMakersCode, will start on March 18, with classes scheduled for March 18, 20, 22, 25, and 27, as well as April 1, 3, 5, and 10, always from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

In total, there will be nine classes, during which participants will have the opportunity to dive into the concepts of low code/no code programming, developing essential skills in the area.
Benefits of Microsoft’s Program
At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to present the projects developed throughout the course.
It is noteworthy that the most remarkable projects will be awarded a special prize: a voucher for the PL-900 certification exam.
This initiative aims to provide concrete recognition for the skills acquired during the Girls Power journey.
Additionally, participants who enroll in the Girls Power Mentoring Program and attend all classes and complete the suggested challenge will receive a certificate of participation with a workload of 20 hours.
What is the Duration of the Girls Power Program?
With a total workload of 20 hours, Girls Power grants a certificate upon completion of the training.
Additionally, Microsoft is preparing a post-training event, a programming marathon called Hackathon.
This Hackathon is exclusively for women who self-identify as Black, according to IBGE classification (Black or Brown).
Participants will compete for the same voucher for the PL-900 exam.
