During next Thursday, (06/23), miner Ligga will inaugurate the Cornerstone of Ligga, in the Parauapebas region, with the start of the first of its mining projects in the state of Pará. To this end, the company has initiated its investments in the ventures with a total of R$ 26 million applied and intends to continue its expansion plan until 2033, with new business in mind for iron exploration in the region.

The miner Ligga is a recent company in the Brazilian mining market, but already has strong investment plans to expand its business in the coming years, with a primary focus on the state of Pará. This project will have several phases until 2033, through three projects: Ferro Sul (Parauapebas and Curionópolis), Inajá (Santa Maria das Barreiras — Povoado Casa de Tábuas and Santana do Araguaia) and Trairão (Bannach).
The company aims to become one of the largest companies in the iron mining sector in Brazil and has its main focus on producing in the state of Pará, in order to sell it throughout Brazil in the future.

The venture has received total investments of R$ 26 million, and the company is expecting the main representatives of the state of Pará for the inauguration of the construction.
The First of Three Projects by Miner Ligga in the State of Pará Generated More Than 500 Job Opportunities for Local Residents
The first of Ligga’s projects in the state of Pará, for iron mining in the region, is already generating benefits for the local population. This is because, according to Ligga’s CEO, civil engineer Gerson Luiz Petterle, about 130 direct jobs and an estimated 455 indirect jobs have been generated in the business.
Gerson has worked on several relevant mining projects in Brazil, such as the Carajás Project, where he participated in the implementation and later worked for 10 years, and now intends to use his experience in the state of Pará.
Thus, the executive emphasized that “It is in this Experimental Plant where everything begins. An investment of 26 million reais, which is already generating 130 direct jobs and an estimated 455 indirect jobs. The expected annual production is 600 thousand tons/year, but its main purpose is to offer greater knowledge about mineral reserves and accuracy in the development of the Ferro Sul Project.”
Now, miner Ligga is awaiting the inauguration of the first iron mining venture in the state of Pará next Thursday to begin production of the mineral and leverage the millions invested to ensure greater efficiency at the plant.
