Regarding the engine, the Avenger will use a combustion option: a 1.0 turbo flex three-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection, generating 130 horsepower. The transmission is a CVT automatic type, simulating up to seven speeds.
Peugeot 2008: The Second Generation of the Compact SUV
The Peugeot 2008 is the second generation of the compact SUV that has been offered in Europe since 2020. Now, the car will be produced in Argentina, alongside the compact 208. The new 2008 stands out for its attractive design and promises to be a sales phenomenon in Brazil. Inside, it follows the quality standard set by the new 208, with above-average finish and a complete equipment list.
Regarding the engine, the new 2008 will have two options: a 1.0 turbo flex engine with 130 horsepower and a 1.3 turbo flex engine with 185 horsepower. Both belong to the Stellantis group and equip various models from the group in Brazil. The compact SUV is already in the final testing stages in Brazil and will be launched in the second half of this year, with prices ranging from R$ 130,000 to R$ 180,000.
Renault Duster: The Third Generation of the Compact SUV
The Renault Duster, a successful compact SUV in Brazil, has reached its third generation in Europe. Now, the model, which belongs to Dacia, will be part of Renault’s new revolution in Brazil. The new Duster is larger than the Kwid and positions itself between it and the new medium-sized SUV from the brand, which will be launched in the coming years.
The design of the new Duster is very attractive, featuring full LED headlights and taillights and 17-inch wheels. Inside, the finish has improved considerably while maintaining the good interior space characteristic of the model.
Regarding the engine, the new Duster will continue using the 1.3 turbo flex engine with 170 horsepower, coupled to an eight-speed simulated CVT automatic transmission. The new generation of the Duster will be positioned above the Kwid, with prices ranging from R$ 140,000 to R$ 170,000.
