We Analyzed The Specifications, Performance, And Price Of The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, A Device That Promises Military Resistance And Top-Notch Configurations For A Competitive Price.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion hit the market with the promise of being a premium mid-range smartphone with features of a true flagship. The device stands out for its impressive durability, with IP68 and IP69 certifications, as well as a military certification, and for a set of specifications that includes an ultra-bright display and a powerful processor.

However, the big question many consumers ask is whether the investment is worth it, especially considering the price fluctuations since its launch.

A Premium Design With A “Cascading” Display And Military Protection

The design of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion catches the eye. It has an aluminum chassis and a back with a finish that mimics leather, the so-called “vegan leather”. The device is thin and sleek, but its main visual feature is the display with curved edges, in the “cascading” style.

The display is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X measuring 6.67 inches, with a 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Brightness is one of its strong points, reaching a peak of 4,500 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. The glass protection is Gorilla Glass 7i. The only point of criticism in the design is the edges, which are considered a bit thick for a device in this category.

The Power Of Dimensity 7300 And Moto AI

The heart of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, an advanced mid-range chip that delivers excellent performance. With 8 GB of RAM (which can be virtually expanded), the device scores over 1,500,000 points on AnTuTu Benchmark v10, being capable of running most heavy games and applications smoothly.

The smartphone comes with Android 15 out of the box, and Motorola guarantees three years of operating system updates, meaning it will receive updates up to Android 18. The device also comes with the brand’s AI package, Moto AI, which includes useful features such as audio transcription and conversation summarization.

Camera Setup: 50 MP Sensor And 8K Recording

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion features a versatile camera setup. On the rear, there are three sensors:

  • 50 MP Main Camera.
  • 13 MP Ultra-Wide Camera, which also works for macro photos.
  • A flicker sensor to avoid flickering lights in videos.

The front camera for selfies has 32 MP. The device is capable of recording videos in 4K at 60 fps with both the main and front cameras and can go up to 8K with the main sensor, a flagship feature.

Battery And Charging, 5200 mAh And 68W In The Box

The battery of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion in the Brazilian version is 5,200 mAh, a capacity that ensures a full day of use for most users. One of Motorola’s significant differentiators is the inclusion of a 68W fast charger in the box.

In addition to wired fast charging, the device also supports 15W wireless charging and features reverse charging, allowing you to use the phone to charge other devices, such as earbuds.

Price And Versions: What Is The Ideal Price For The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion?

The price is the deciding factor for determining whether the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is worth it. At launch, the device came with prices over R$ 4,000, making it a less competitive option.

However, over time, its price has adjusted. The ideal price range to consider buying in 2025 is:

  • 128 GB Version: Around R$ 2,600.
  • 256 GB Version: A bit below R$ 3,000.

At these prices, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion becomes one of the best cost-benefit options on the market, delivering a set of premium specifications at a mid-range price.

What do you think about the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion? Do you believe it is worth it in this price range?
