Cargill Requires Students to Be Enrolled in a Higher Education Institution in Humanities, Exact, or Biological Areas. Students, Even Without Experience, Can Register on the American Multinational’s Website.

The American multinational Cargill, with the aim of providing opportunities to new talents available in the market and helping to develop young students from various different areas, announced on Monday (4) the opening of over 100 new job vacancies for in-person and remote positions in its 2022 Internship Program. The selection process does not require prior experience. In total, Cargill has secured 192 internship vacancies dedicated to higher education students throughout Brazil. It is important to note that Cargill is one of the largest food processing and agricultural commodities companies in the world.

Job Vacancies for In-Person and Remote Positions Offered by Cargill Are Targeted at Higher Education Students Seeking a First Opportunity

According to information provided by Cargill, vacancies will be available in 11 states across Brazil, as well as the Federal District. Some job vacancies are directed towards support areas, such as Administrative and Human Resources, while others are for operational areas.

Another excellent point is that some vacancies for candidates without experience are for fully in-person work, some in a hybrid format, while others are remote, that is, from home. According to Cargill, the contract model may vary according to the description and location where the internship vacancy needs to be filled.

Cargill also informed that salaries are variable, as they depend on the salary offered in the region. In a statement, the company indicated that the internship program also offers a scholarship that is compatible with the location and the year of graduation.

Applications for Internship Vacancies at Cargill

Interested students will have until May 2, 2022, to apply. Students from higher education, whether in-person, distance education (EaD), or technological courses, with graduation between December 2022 and June 2024, may participate.

The internship program may last from 6 months to 2 years and is seeking students without experience from the Exact, Humanities, and Biological areas. The only requirement is that the candidate must be duly enrolled in a national higher education institution, in addition to having availability to work 30 or 40 hours per week, as per the job description. Proficiency in English or knowledge of programs that comprise the Microsoft Office suite are considered differential skills, also according to the vacancy’s requirements.

Other Plans by Cargill

Cargill’s internship program, in addition to focusing on hiring interns for business areas and other administrative functions, also aims to open pathways for these students, even without experience, to gain access to various areas of Agribusiness, including Agriculture and Livestock, as well as other areas focusing on the production of materials, oils, and other ingredients.

Even though Cargill does not openly discuss the salary range it offers within its work environment, the American multinational offers a varied range of benefits, including Health and Dental Assistance, Transportation Support, Life Insurance, GymPass, Christmas Food Card, and meal vouchers or access to on-site cafeteria.

For students without experience interested in the internship position, simply register within Cargill’s job portal. Just access this link and register.
