MWM, A Subsidiary of the Tupy Group, Makes a Strong Presence at the 17th Bahia Farm Show

The 17th edition of the Bahia Farm Show, one of the main agribusiness events in Northern and Northeastern Brazil, features MWM, a company of the Tupy group, among its exhibitors. The show takes place from June 6 to 10 in the city of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Bahia.

Focus on Decarbonization and Circular Economy

This year, MWM highlights its advanced solutions in decarbonization, with proposals aimed at the circular economy in the agricultural sector. The innovations allow farm waste to be converted, through biodigestion, into reliable electrical energy, renewable fuel, and even high-quality fertilizer.

QTA MWM: Advanced Power Switching Solution

The QTA MWM, presented during the Bahia Farm Show, is part of a complete line of products with solutions ranging from 110 to 5,000 Amperes. The equipment features microprocessor-controlled automatic command systems and is responsible for switching power between the generator set and the utility grid.

Cristian Malevic, engineering director and head of the decarbonization and electrical energy solutions unit at MWM, notes that the company’s presence at the Bahia Farm Show aligns with its goal of providing customers with complete solutions tailored to their businesses. He emphasizes the importance of Northeastern Brazil, particularly the western region of Bahia, for agribusiness and the demands for technologies focused on sustainability, productivity, and energy security.

With over 4.6 million engines produced in its 70 years of history, MWM exports to more than 45 countries and has an extensive service network with over 1,300 points throughout Brazil and worldwide.

Regarding the event, the participation of more than 900 brands from Brazil and abroad is expected, along with the presence of over 100,000 visitors in a space equipped with the latest in modern technology in the field, combining comfort, security, and entertainment.
