The 2025 Version of the Yamaha MT-03 Arrives in Brazil with Updates in Technology, Design, and Convenience, Maintaining the 321 cc Twin-Cylinder Engine and Strengthening Its Position Among the Most Complete Entry-Level Nakeds on the Market.
The Yamaha has officially announced the arrival of the MT-03 2025 in Brazil with a suggested price of R$ 33,990 and it will debut in dealerships in April 2025.
The new version brings smartphone connectivity, assist and slipper clutch, design updates, and maintains the 321 cc twin-cylinder engine, now with 41.3 hp and 3.0 kgf.m.
The package caters to the “around R$ 30,000” positioning and updates the entry-level naked in the MT line to meet the current demands of the segment.

Launch and Price in Brazil
Presented in March 2025 alongside the MT-07, the MT-03 becomes part of the brand’s “Connected” range, focusing on digital integration and convenience equipment.

The suggested public price is R$ 33,990 (excluding freight), a figure that places it among the most technologically advanced options in its range.
According to Yamaha, local production in Manaus enabled its arrival in stores as early as April 2025.
321 cc Twin-Cylinder Engine
The mechanical assembly retains a DOHC, two-cylinder, 321 cc architecture, liquid cooling, and electronic fuel injection.
The calibration disclosed for the 2025 model in Brazil indicates 41.3 hp at 10,750 rpm and 3.0 kgf.m at 9,000 rpm.
The transmission continues with six speeds, now assisted by the assist and slipper clutch, which reduces effort on the lever and prevents rear wheel locking during downshifts.
Connected Dashboard and Conveniences
Meeting the demand for digital integration, the MT-03 2025 adopts a 100% digital dashboard with a blackout style and smartphone connectivity.
The rider receives call and message alerts on the display, as well as additional information through the brand’s app.
A USB-A port with a cover next to the dashboard allows for device charging during use.
Full LED Lighting and Updated Design
The lighting is now entirely LED, with sharp DRLs and a projector headlight at the front.
At the rear, the tail section has been redesigned, shortened, and integrated with a new LED taillight.
The side fairings have been revised, and there are new seats: the rider’s seat has become narrower at the base to facilitate reaching the ground, and the passenger seat has gained extra padding.
The changes make the motorcycle more cohesive with the language of the MT family.
Ergonomics and Daily Use
The seat height remains at 78 cm, favoring riders of different statures.
The redesign of the seat, combined with the new rear, improves support without altering the bike’s compact proposal.
The package retains ABS on both wheels, upside-down front suspension, and rear preload adjustment, preserving the already known behavior of the MT-03 for urban and highway use.
Differences from the 2024 Version
The 2025 line introduces three main changes.
First, the connectivity: the dashboard now connects to the phone, displaying notifications, a feature that was not present in 2024.
Then, the assist and slipper clutch, which was previously non-existent, contributes to smoother and safer gear changes.
Finally, the updated design, with projector headlights, DRLs, redesigned rear light, revised seats, and a shorter tail.
These changes have entered the national market with local production and availability starting in April 2025.
Available Equipment and Colors
Standard items include ABS brakes, full LED lighting, USB-A port, connectable digital dashboard, and six-speed transmission with assistance and slipper function.
The MT-03 Connected 2025 is offered in three colors: X-Black (Matte Black), Ice Fluo (Matte Gray), and Racing Blue (Metallic Blue).
Market Strategy
With a price around R$ 30,000 and an expanded technological package, the MT-03 2025 repositions itself among entry-level nakeds.
The model combines twin-cylinder engine, connectivity features, modern lighting, and ergonomic adjustments.
The strategy targets both beginners in larger displacement motorcycles and users looking for an agile vehicle for daily use, without sacrificing convenience equipment.
Production and Warranty
Domestic production is already underway and distribution to stores began in April 2025.
Yamaha offers four years of warranty for the model in Brazil, in addition to fixed-price services.
In light of these changes, what matters most to you in choosing an entry-level naked: the dashboard connectivity, the assist clutch, or the full LED lighting setup?
