The ANP announced a series of flexibilities for companies operating oil and gas fields, especially the PAT (annual work program), postponing for 1 year The activities forecast by oil companies for 2020.

The annual work program is delivered to the ANP by the oil companies, where the set of activities and investments of the operating company over the course of any calendar year are reported. With this decision, companies are released from complying with what was foreseen in this plan for one year, without the need to revise the plan.

Another important measure adopted by the agency was the suspension of deadlines related to some operational routines for oil and gas production. They are: oil sample collection to determine the shrinkage factor and solubility ratio; gas sample collection; meter calibration that cannot be performed in loco; calibration of secondary elements, measuring tapes and tanks; dimensional inspection of components of measurement systems and tanks and verification of burn gauges and testing of onshore wells.
