In the physical test, the level of demand follows traditional Navy standards.
Among the exercises required are running, swimming, push-ups, and sit-ups, with specific indices for men and women.
The 3,200-meter run, for example, must be completed in up to 18 minutes and 30 seconds by male candidates and in up to 20 minutes and 30 seconds by female candidates.
Training course and distribution of vacancies
The approved candidates enter the Marine Corps Soldier Training Course, lasting approximately 17 weeks and in an internship regime.
During this period, training takes place in specialized military units, focusing on physical preparation, discipline, and technical training.

After completing the course and being incorporated as a naval infantry soldier, the initial salary increases to R$ 2,505.10, including additional benefits provided in the Armed Forces’ salary structure.
The career allows for advancement over time, with the possibility of specialization and retention based on the institution’s internal criteria.

How to register for the Navy competition
Applications must be made exclusively online, through the official portal of the Brazilian Navy, within the deadline set in the current schedule.

The participation fee is R$ 40, and the registration period remains open until April 10, 2026, according to the most recent update released by the institution.
