Check Out The News, Versions, And Advanced Tests Of The New TSI Engine Of The Nivus That Promise To Shake Up The Compact SUV Market In Brazil
The Volkswagen Nivus 2025 is already in advanced testing and promises to shake up the compact SUV market in Brazil. Spotted by Eduardo Campilongo in the Vale do Paraíba region of São Paulo, the new Nivus brings a series of updates ranging from a basic version with a 1.0 TSI engine to unprecedented options with the powerful 1.4 TSI delivering 150 hp, according to the Quatro Rodas website.
The big surprise is the introduction of a basic version of the Nivus, named Sense 170 TSI. Equipped with the same 1.0 TSI engine as the Polo, this version delivers up to 116 hp and 16.8 kgfm, combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. This configuration aims to offer a more affordable option to consumers while maintaining the quality and performance characteristic of the brand.
New Versions And Aesthetic Updates
In addition to the basic version, the Nivus 2025 will also feature other intermediate versions, retaining the 200 TSI engine, which offers 128 hp and 20.4 kgfm. The model presents aesthetic changes, such as different lower grille and air intake, similar to the European VW Taigo. Headlights and bumpers remain similar to the current model but with possible updates.
