Bem Brasil Alimentos New Factory Will Open 300 Job Openings
Simplistically, the EVP strategy means offering development opportunities to current employees through improving the workplace experience, promotions, and investments in training and skills development. For newcomers, a journey within the company is outlined so that they feel welcomed, prepared for their roles, and simultaneously engaged with the culture, allowing them to develop a sense of belonging to the team.

According to Bem Brasil’s Human Resources Manager, Franciele Reis, about 76% of the opportunities for the new line were filled by internal staff. “This is a very relevant percentage and important for us, as it allows employees to envision growth within the company and real possibilities in their careers,” she points out.
Thus, the company will follow a dynamic of training and development programs for people to work at the Perdizes factory. “There will be technical mentorships and coaching processes for training professionals for leadership positions. Our bet is on On the Job Training, which means opportunities and training within the workplace, valuing leaders who will hold supervisory positions, as well as those moving from operational to leadership roles,” she details.
Franciele adds, however, that there will be external hiring, both for new job positions and to fill the roles of those who have been promoted. “Bem Brasil has, in its DNA, the guideline of valuing professionals and offering internal opportunities. But it also believes in the importance of seeking people from outside to promote rejuvenation and enhance innovation. Both strategies are complementary,” she explains.
Bem Brasil Is a Leader in Frozen Pre-Fried Potato Sales in the Country
Today, Bem Brasil is a leader in frozen pre-fried potato sales in the country, with two units in Araxá (MG) and Perdizes. After the inauguration of the third plant, it will be able to expand the company’s current production capacity from 250,000 tons per year to over 500,000. In the new factory, in addition to various potato formats – canoe, stick, ball, cut, etc. – a line of pre-fried frozen onion rings will also be processed. The expectation is that the inauguration will occur in early 2022. The total number of direct jobs is expected to increase from approximately 800 to 1,100.
The management method through employer branding, adopted by the company, has been increasingly used worldwide to ensure brand competitiveness. The aim is to retain talent, reduce turnover, and attract the best professionals, precisely due to the visibility of the positive aspects of working for the company. Evidence that this approach works is that Bem Brasil has just received, for the second consecutive year, the “Incredible Places to Work” Award, determined through an evaluation conducted by the Foundation Institute of Administration (FIA), specifically with the employees themselves.
