Launch In Japan And Changes To The 2026 Line

The mid-life update brought specific adjustments.
Honda redesigned the main footpegs to facilitate foot support and changed the internal material of the seat focusing on comfort.
The dashboard received a new structure to reduce sun glare and improve visibility during the day.
The line now also includes the CL250 E-Clutch option, featuring the brand’s electronic clutch system.
E-Clutch: Electronic Clutch With Manual Operation Option
The E-Clutch automatically manages the clutch during starts, gear shifts, and stops, eliminating the need to engage the lever.
Even so, it remains possible to operate the clutch manually when desired.

Gear changes are still made via the pedal.
The technology was announced by Honda to enhance accessibility without altering the six-speed transmission.
Ergonomics And Dashboard Focused On Everyday Use
In addition to the new version, the CL250 2026 received practical improvements.
The shape of the footpegs prioritizes fitting and support, while the seat foam has been revised to reduce fatigue.
The dashboard has also changed: the construction now limits reflections, enhancing visibility during daytime riding — a useful change for those who ride in urban areas.
Available Colors And Original Accessories
The CL250 remains available in the Pearl Cadet Gray shade.
The CL250 E-Clutch debuts in Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The manufacturer has also updated the colors of some genuine accessories sold separately, including headlight visor, side covers, raised fenders, and hand guards.
The new options expand customization opportunities for buyers.
Engine, Fuel Consumption And Performance Of The CL250
The engine retains the DOHC, 4-valve single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, with 249 cm³. The maximum power is 24 hp at 8,500 rpm and the torque is 2.3 kgfm at 6,250 rpm.
The gearbox has six speeds, and the tank holds 12 liters of gasoline.
According to Japanese homologation (WMTC), the average is 34.6 km/l for the CL250 and 34.0 km/l for the E-Clutch.
In a constant speed measurement at 60 km/h, with two occupants, the brand reports 47.0 km/l.
Chassis, Wheels And Scrambler Style
The scrambler proposal remains evident.
The CL250 uses a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, with 110/80R19 and 150/70R17 tires.
The set includes a 41 mm telescopic fork and a swingarm type rear swingarm, as well as brake discs on both wheels.

The model sold in Japan is produced by Thai Honda, in Thailand, and imported by the local subsidiary.
Price Of The Honda CL250 In Japan
In Japan, the CL250 costs 649,000 yen and the CL250 E-Clutch costs 704,000 yen — reference values with 10% tax included.
The arrival in Japanese dealerships is scheduled for October 24, 2025.
So far, there has been no official announcement regarding the sale of the CL250 in Brazil.
Technology Already Available In Brazil
The E-Clutch technology is already available in the country on the CB 650R E-Clutch, which introduced the feature here in the 2026 line.
The naked was launched in August and became the showpiece of the system in the national market.
What Remains From The CL250 Update
The CL250 2026 maintains the classic look with a mixed-use stance and receives improvements in ergonomics and dashboard visibility.
The new variant with E-Clutch adds convenience without abandoning traditional pedal control.
The technical package remains centered on the 249 cm³ engine and low consumption, with official data reaching 47.0 km/l under ideal conditions.
For the Brazilian market, the expectation remains: will the CL250 with E-Clutch have space alongside models that have already introduced the technology?
