From Entry-Level 4K to High-End OLED with More Brightness and AI, Explore in Detail LG’s New TVs, Their Technologies, and How They Compare to Competitors.

LG officially presented its complete line of televisions for 2025, and the brand’s strategy for this year is clear: fewer entry-level models and a greater focus on cutting-edge technologies. The new TVs come with important updates across all categories, from the more affordable UHD to the acclaimed OLEDs, which continue to be the company’s flagship.

With more powerful processors, artificial intelligence enhancements, and a new differentiation in the QNED line, LG seeks to establish itself as a reference in picture quality. To help you understand what has changed and which model is ideal for you, we have prepared a complete guide with all the new TVs from the brand for 2025.

Entry-Level TVs (UHD 4K)

For those looking for their first 4K TV or a model for the bedroom, LG has simplified its entry-level line. Now, we basically have one main model, which can be found under two names: UA85 and UA75.

  • What’s New? Both share the same picture quality, but the big difference is that the UA85 comes with the new Smart Magic remote control in the box, which has been redesigned and now includes a dedicated button for AI functions. In addition, the line gained the AI Orchestra feature, which synchronizes TV audio with LG soundbars, and a more robust design.

The First Upgrade (Entry-Level NanoCell and QNED)

Moving up a tier, we find models that offer a panel with purer and more vibrant colors.

  • Nano 80A: Uses LG’s NanoCell technology to filter out impure colors, resulting in a more true-to-life image.
  • QNED 70A: Combines NanoCell technology with quantum dots (Quantum Dots), delivering an even greater volume of color and brightness. It is the entry door to the QNED line.

The Mid-Range with More Contrast (QNED with Local Dimming)

Here, LG targets an audience that values picture quality for movies and series, but doesn’t necessarily need gaming features. The models QNED 80A and QNED 82A stand out for including Local Dimming technology.

  • What is Local Dimming? The screen is divided into independently lit zones, allowing the TV to dim or turn off the brightness of dark parts of the scene, significantly enhancing contrast and black depth.

The Best LCD TV from LG (QNED with Mini LED)

The QNED Evo 85A represents the pinnacle of LG’s LCD technology. It replaces last year’s flagship models and incorporates the best of a panel that is not OLED.

  • What Makes It Special? The big differentiator is the Mini LED technology. The LEDs that illuminate the screen are much smaller, allowing for much more precise brightness and contrast control. In addition, it features a 144Hz refresh rate, ideal for gaming, support for Dolby Vision for movies, and the more powerful Alpha 8 processor.

The Royalty of Picture (OLED)

The OLEDs continue to be LG’s crown jewel, and the 2025 line brings options for different budgets.

  • OLED B5: LG has brought back its entry-level OLED line. The B5 offers the superior picture quality of OLED technology, with perfect blacks and infinite contrast, at a more affordable price. It has 120Hz and Dolby Vision, but uses the Alpha 8 processor.
  • OLED Evo C5: This is the main and most recommended model. With more brightness, 144Hz refresh rate, and the powerful Alpha 9 processor, the C5 is the ideal TV for most consumers looking for the best picture quality.
  • OLED Evo G5: The top of the line. The G5 is the company’s technological showcase, with the brightest screen in the entire lineup, 4.2 channel sound, 165Hz refresh rate, and the most powerful processor, the Alpha 11. It is the TV for the most demanding enthusiasts.

Which of these new TVs from LG interests you the most? Do you think the brand got its strategy right for 2025? Leave your opinion in the comments!

Não compre… Tvs OLED duram 3 anos e começam dar BURN-IN… Enquanto a LG não der garantia, não adianta… Tive 3 TVs e as 3 deram problemas com 2 ou 3 anos, mesmo fazendo as limpezas e as proteções ativas. OLED nunca mais.
