New Caixa Econômica Federal Competition for High School Candidates May Be Announced Soon. About 800 Remnants from the Last Competition Have Already Been Called.
On Wednesday (24), yet another step toward the realization of the Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) competition was taken, as the president of the institution, Rita Serrano, announced through a post on her social media, the calling of 800 remnants from the last competition, which took place in 2014.
Demand for Mid-Level and Higher-Level Employees May Generate a New Competition
According to the president of Caixa, the calls will begin in June for immediate start. During the institutional ceremony on January 12, Serrano had already emphasized the great demand for new employees, which may ensure new selection processes in the medium term.
Last year, Caixa Econômica Federal had expressed interest in holding a new public competition once the issue of the remnants was resolved. Thus, some news in this regard may be announced soon. During the event, the president also reinforced that Caixa is undergoing a process of opening new branches, which will require the need for new employees.

The validity of the last competition, which began in 2014, was set to expire in 2016. However, due to the failure to call the approved candidates, a Public Civil Action (PCA) was filed with the Labor Public Ministry (LPM) to ensure the calling of all approved candidates. Therefore, the selection process remains valid until a final decision is reached in court.
