The Positions for the IBGE Contest Are Spread Across 11 States. Applications for the Contest Can Be Made Until August 16

The IBGE has opened another selection process for temporary hiring. According to the contest announcement published this Wednesday, the 10th, in the Federal Official Gazette, the Institute will offer 152 positions for research agents and mapping and 5 positions for collection and quality supervisors, according to the website A Gazeta.

Applications for the contest positions can be made until August 16, and there will be no fee charged.

Prerequisites to Occupy the Positions in the Contest Offered by IBGE

The only prerequisite required by IBGE for the roles is a complete high school education. The initial salaries are R$ 1,387.50 for agents and R$ 3,100 for supervisors. Both positions will have a work schedule of 40 hours per week.

The contest positions for agents are spread across 36 municipalities. They are: ES, GO, MG, MS, MT, PR, RS, SC, and SP, and in 5 cities of AL, RJ, RS, and SC for the role of supervisor.

According to IBGE, the professionals will work in research areas such as the Continuous PNAD, and not in the 2022 Census.

The details about the contest and the positions were published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU) this Wednesday. According to the announcement, the contract is expected to last up to 1 year, but this period may be extended as indicated in clause II of the sole paragraph of art. 4 of Law No. 8,745, from 1993.

Applications for the Positions in the IBGE Contest

To compete in the selection process, interested parties must visit one of the application centers for the IBGE contest, between this Wednesday and next Tuesday, the 16th, and submit the application form.
