The New Jeep Compass 2025 Has Arrived to Revolutionize the Market with a Bold Design and Unique STLA Medium Platform! With Hybrid and Electric Engines, the SUV Promises Unmatched Performance, Including Versions with All-Wheel Drive and a Range of Up to 701 km!

For SUV fans and especially Jeep enthusiasts, a major new development is on the horizon!

The new Jeep Compass, according to the Motor1 portal, is one of the American automaker’s main bets for 2025 and promises significant changes and advancements that are sure to catch the attention of drivers worldwide.

Although the launch is scheduled for next year, some information has started to emerge, creating growing anticipation among fans of the brand and automotive innovations.

The big reveal has already been made through teasers released by Jeep: the new Compass will be equipped with a unique platform, the STLA Medium, from Stellantis.

This innovation will provide the vehicle with an adaptable architecture, allowing for the use of different types of powertrains.

This means that the model is set to please both traditional drivers and those seeking more sustainable alternatives, such as electric and hybrid engines.

The STLA Medium Platform: The Revolution Behind the New Compass

The STLA Medium platform will be the heart of the new Jeep Compass, and its importance goes far beyond what is immediately visible.

The STLA Medium is a modular architecture base developed by Stellantis, one of the largest automotive conglomerates in the world, responsible for brands like Fiat, Peugeot, and of course, Jeep.

This platform was created to be multifunctional and allow for a wide variety of configurations for the models that use it.

In the case of the new Compass, this means that the SUV can be produced with different engine options, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric versions.

The adaptation for different types of powertrains will allow the new Compass to be an even more versatile model, meeting the needs of a consumer base that is increasingly in search of sustainable alternatives, without compromising on performance and Jeep’s tradition.

Although the complete details about the power and battery specifications of the new Compass are not yet known, there is strong anticipation that the model will follow the trends of other Stellantis vehicles, such as the Peugeot 3008.

This model, for instance, offers options with hybrid and electric powertrains, such as the 1.2 e-hybrid with 136 hp, the 1.5 plug-in with 194 hp, and fully electric versions that offer up to 701 km of range with 96 kWh batteries.

Design and Visual Changes: What to Expect from the New Compass?

The design of the new Jeep Compass also promises to be one of the major highlights.

The images released so far show that the brand has maintained its visual identity but introduced interesting changes that could excite drivers even more.

The new Compass will feature front and rear light clusters with a modern and bold design, especially at the rear, where the square lines stand out.

These rear lights appear almost to emerge from the SUV’s volumes, creating a visually impressive effect.

At the front, the classic seven slots, a symbol of Jeep, remain intact.

However, they will not be illuminated by a central strip, as in previous models, but by segments placed above each slot. This creates a more futuristic look in line with current automotive design trends.

The vehicle’s grille will also be thinner, following the line of the current model, while the front lights will have a rectangular design, similar to what is seen on the Jeep Recon, another SUV from the brand that will be launched in 2025.

The Arrival of the Compass in Europe and Production in Italy

The new Compass 2026 will be produced in Europe, specifically at the Melfi plant in Italy, where Stellantis already has a production base for some of its most popular models.

This European launch is expected to occur between March and June 2025, and it is anticipated to make a strong impact, reinforcing Jeep’s presence in the SUV market on the continent.

One of the issues that has generated the most discussion so far has been the local production of the model. For Europe, the manufacture of the new Compass is already defined, but what about Brazil?

Given the model’s significant relevance in the Brazilian market, the production of the new Compass in national territory seems certain.

However, there are still some uncertainties about which Stellantis plant in Brazil will welcome the production of the new generation of the SUV.

Brazil: The New Compass Only Arrives in 2027

Although the new Compass is set to be launched in Europe in 2025, Brazilian drivers will have to wait a little longer to see the model in dealerships.

The expectation is that the new Jeep Compass will arrive in Brazil only in 2027, but the good news is that when it does, it will be produced locally.

Stellantis, which already has factories in various parts of Brazil, is analyzing whether the production of the new Compass will continue in Goiana, Pernambuco, or be transferred to another plant of the brand, such as the one in Betim, Minas Gerais.

The reason for this uncertainty is that the new STLA Medium platform, which will be used in the Compass 2026, is not yet manufactured in Brazil.

Therefore, the automaker must evaluate the best way to adapt local production to ensure the model’s continuity in the Brazilian market.

The Future of the Jeep Compass and Consumer Expectations

The new Jeep Compass promises to be a milestone for the automaker, both in terms of design and technological innovation.

With the arrival of the STLA Medium platform and the diversity of engine options, the Compass positions itself as one of the most anticipated SUVs of 2025.

With Hybrid, Plug-In, and Electric Options, the model attracts consumers looking for more sustainable options, without sacrificing the performance and robustness characteristic of the brand.

Moreover, the visual changes and design update of the new Compass reflect Jeep’s commitment to staying relevant in a competitive and ever-evolving market.

The expectation is that, with the European launch, the model will attract consumers not only for its mechanical qualities but also for its innovative and modern appearance.
