The New Peugeot 308 2024 Electric Promises to Redefine Standards for Family EV Hatchbacks, Offering Not Only an Impressive Range of 400 km but Also Hatch and Estate Styles.

The latest launch from Peugeot, the 308 2024, marks a new era for electric hatchbacks, establishing itself as an electrifying offering in both hatch and station wagon versions. This model promises to redefine the standards of what an ‘at-home’ electric vehicle should be, bringing significant innovations and a design that is distinctly different from its predecessor.

The Peugeot 308 2024 stands out not only for its electric powertrain but also for its striking aesthetics, aligning with the latest releases from Dacia, such as the Duster. Featuring a front end with a narrow strip between the headlights and a body protected by a robust band, this model is clearly more adventurous and stylish. And of course, the elimination of roof bars aims to optimize aerodynamics and consumption, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to efficiency.

The new 308 not only retains but expands its already generous cargo space, with an additional front compartment for charging cables, demonstrating unmatched versatility. Inside, the vehicle impresses with a significant advancement in terms of modern equipment and aesthetic finishes, consolidating itself as a premium option in the segment.

Innovative Design

The design of the new 308 is a true statement point, offering a choice between two finish options for the grille, in addition to lightweight 18-inch wheels specifically developed to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. Importantly, the model achieved the highest score in the new Green NC index, which evaluates the environmental impact and sustainability of electric vehicles, reaffirming Peugeot’s commitment to ecological responsibility.

Price and Whether the New Peugeot is Coming to Brazil

Although the Peugeot 308 2024 is an impressive electric vehicle with many desirable attributes, there is still no official information about its arrival in the Brazilian market. Considering the growing interest and demand for electric vehicles in the country, it would be a welcome addition to Peugeot’s portfolio in Brazil, offering an eco-friendly and innovative alternative for Brazilian consumers. The price of the Peugeot 308 2024 is between 40 thousand dollars and 60 thousand dollars.

That said, the Peugeot 308 2024 electric not only raises the standard for electric hatchbacks with its bold design, improved efficiency, and technological advancements, but also signals a significant shift in the electric vehicle market, promising a winning combination of style, sustainability, and performance. We await more information about its potential arrival in Brazil.

What Was the Last Year of Manufacture of the Peugeot 308 in Brazil?

The Peugeot 308 ceased production in Brazil in 2019, concluding a cycle that began in 2012 with its arrival in the Brazilian market, imported from Argentina. This model, which served as a successor to the Peugeot 307, was offered in various configurations, standing out mainly for the Peugeot 308 GT equipped with a 1.6 turbocharged engine with 200 hp. The decision to discontinue the 308 (and also the Peugeot 408) in Brazil followed a global trend of greater focus on SUVs and the compact Peugeot 208, reflecting the low demand for the model which sold only 434 units in the year prior to its discontinuation.
